She spent the next 25+ years as the Executive Director of the Colorado Association for Recycling (CAFR) and the National Recycling Coalition. She successfully grew CAFR from a small, $4,000/year budget and 20-member organization into a strong, effective, self-sustaining 250-member organization with a quarter-million dollar a year budget. During this time she oversaw the finances of both organizations, created annual budgets, met all financial goals and obligations and ensured that the boards understood the finances .
Over this same period, Marjorie helped multiple small businesses grow into robust larger businesses including her husband’s which was consistently bringing in over $.5 million per year. In addition, she mentored business owners and nonprofit directors.
Marjorie is a Notary Public, licensed in the state of Colorado and fully insured, and she is a current board member of the Berthoud Chamber of Commerce. She is passionate about providing peace of mind to small businesses and nonprofits regarding their accounting and reporting needs.
As she says, “I’ll bring order to your finances and joy to your heart!”
